Why should you get an artificial Christmas tree?
For most of my life, my family and I always bought real Christmas trees. Which I love!
I have so many amazing memories of taking trips to the tree lot with my family to pick out the perfect tree. I always enjoyed the amazing aroma of the fresh cut trees that filled the crisp cool air. And then, of course it was always a tradition to pick up a dozen donuts on the way home for us to enjoy while we decorated the tree. So fun!
However, a real Christmas tree does require some maintenance and care. It needs to be watered daily! Or you will end up with a very dry and dead tree, which then becomes a fire hazard. Yikes!
Not to mention, the pine needles get everywhere. Really. The tree drops needles not only when the tree is first brought home, but everyday after that. Especially when it starts drying out. So, there’s a lot of sweeping and vacuuming required.
Lastly, real trees are not exactly cheap. Purchasing a real tree every year really adds up. Maybe this is not a factor for some people, but it’s something to think about.
While real trees are definitely beautiful, there are some “not so great” things about them.
Which is why I decided to invest in a beautiful artificial pre-lit flocked tree. It’s absolutely gorgeous! And there are some great benefits:
