I’m Kelly and I am here to blog about my journey in creating a beautiful home and hopefully to inspire some along the way.
I have been married to my wonderful hubby for 9 years and have two crazy kiddos whom I adore. We also have a miniature zoo that consists of a lazy cavalier King Charles spaniel, a goofy Husky, a skittish snowshoe cat, and a Ragdoll who thinks he’s gods gift to our home (he kinda is lol). Anyways, I digress…
When I’m not decorating, or mopping up endless amounts of HAIR, I’m spending time with my amazing family. And the funny thing is, my parents actually live right next door! So we get to hang out and do movie nights all the time, we feel very lucky.
I have always loved decorating, even when I was little. I was always rearranging my furniture and painting different colors on the walls. And now, as an adult with my own home, I love all things home decor! I really enjoy the process of transforming a room into exactly the way I imagine it to be. Every detail from the colors, textures, and art on the walls, to the carefully chosen furniture. The end result is so rewarding!
On this blog, I plan to share the process of turning our builder-grade house, into the home of our dreams. You will get to see the amazing before and afters, inspiration photos, and handy how to’s.
Random Facts About Me:
- One of my great grandfathers was the King of Sweden, a long time ago!
- I love chocolate (a bit too much)
- I love coffee, but I do better with decaf (I get the jitters…).
- I prefer to stay in and watch a family movie over going out.
- I really enjoy going camping or just being outdoors.
- I’m not from the south, but I love to say “y’all”!
- My family means the world to me and I would do anything for them.
