A list of 17 beautiful Christmas tree ideas that will inspire you to try a new theme this year.
Yay! Another Christmas post! As y’all may know by now, I love all things Christmas and it is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love the crisp cool air, the cozy sweaters, and drinking hot cocoa by the fire. Not only is the weather perfect, but I get to haul out all of the Christmas decorations. Oh my goodness, do I love decorating for Christmas!
And one of the best parts of decorating for Christmas is decorating the Christmas tree. The Christmas tree is magical. It is the center of the home when it comes to Christmas. Everyone gathers around the tree for gift giving, singing carols, or just relaxing by the cozy fire.
My kids especially look forward to the Christmas tree going up every year. They know that when the tree is up, Christmas has officially begun. We spend a lot of time just sitting around our tree and admiring it’s beauty. We love spotting the ornaments and reliving the special memories associated with those ornaments. The tree is like the heart of Christmas.
In this post, I’m going to be showing you some beautifully decorated Christmas trees so that maybe it will give you some ideas on how to decorate your Christmas tree this year.

17 Beautiful Christmas Tree Ideas
1.Pretty Pastel Tree
This is our tree, isn’t she pretty? She is a beautiful 9 foot slim flocked tree. The ornaments are mostly multi-colored pastel bulbs; however, I also wanted to mix in a touch of red for some pop. Then, of course, the tree is sprinkled with various adorable owls, because I LOVE owls! In case you were wondering, the tree is from King of Christmas.
2. Magical Snowy Tree
Here we have an amazing Christmas tree that is decorated with all white ornaments. Using a mix of different sized white bulbs and adding in an array of all white animal ornaments, this tree really does emit a beautiful glow and truly embodies a “white Christmas” feel.
3. Silver, Gold, and Light Green Tree
A classic Christmas tree theme happening on this tree. We have bulbs in different sizes that are mostly silver with a few hints of green and gold. We also have cranberry sprays that enhance this color theme nicely with a beautiful pop of red.
4. White, Gold, and Blue Tree
I LOVE this tree! It is absolutely fabulous in every sense of the word. The colors in this lovely theme are mainly whites, golds, creams, and a bit of blue. It really is an amazing color combo on this flocked tree, but what really makes this tree is special is the variety of textures that are present. There are feathers, glitter, and spikes, as well as vastly different sized bulbs. A few of the bulbs on this tree are giant! They sure do make a statement however. I especially love those huge ivory bulbs with the birds on them. Replicating those bulbs for my own tree is something I may have to do! I actually found these 12” bulbs on Amazon and then I can paint the birds on. Hooray for DIY!
5. Classic Silver and Gold Tree
This classic theme features silver and gold. Not over done, just a fairly simple with mostly bulbs and beaded garlands. A silver and gold theme looks amazing on the green Christmas trees.
6. Winter Woodland Tree
How majestic is this Christmas tree? It almost looks as thought you would stumble upon this tree while on a walk through the winter woods. This theme is all about neutrals and texture. Most of the bulbs are white with a few gold sprinkled in. I love the way the faux fur rug plays up the almost rustic yet glamorous feel of this Christmas tree.
7. Silver and Pinecone Tree
Having mostly silver bulbs married with some lovely pinecones, this tree resonates a gorgeous rustic elegance. The most unique quality about this tree are it’s lights and how they cascade vertically down through its branches instead of being wrapped around horizontally.
8. Classic Red, White, and Silver Tree
Here we have a simple little tree with a classic little theme. All this tree needed was some red, white, and silver bulbs and a string of sparkly fairy lights. A perfect minimalist approach.
9. Simple Flocked Tree
This gorgeous flocked Christmas tree is shining bright in its all natural state. Its simplicity is perfection.
10. Light Blue and Gold Tree
This beautiful Christmas tree is dressed up in bulbs that are light blue and gold. We have some different colored beaded garlands and a few cute little bows to add a bit more interest.
11 . Deep Jewel-Toned Tree
I adore how rich and lovely this Christmas tree looks. It feels like it could be from the victorian era with those beautiful deep jewel toned bulbs and bows. Looks like they used mostly gold and bronze bulbs with just a few teal scattered around. Then we have pretty plum colored bows nicely placed throughout the tree.
12. Wild Safari Tree
This tree is super fun and different! On this Christmas tree we have clear bulbs that look like bubbles and a bunch of wild safari animals that have been placed carefully all over the tree. Perhaps this tree would be perfect for the kids’ room!
13. Traditional Burgundy and Gold Tree
The dark and moody Christmas tree has a traditional color scheme. I love the rich burgundy hues and the shiny gold accents.
14. Ballerina Pink and Blue Tree
A tree for your little girls room? This one is just so darn cute! All you need is some pink and blue ornaments along with some dainty dancers and pretty white snowflakes.
15. Glamorous White and Silver Tree
Here is a beautiful green Christmas tree that is just a bit ”extra”. Not only does this tree have pretty silver and white colored bulbs and some beautiful beaded garland, but it also has something unique. There are adorable little white gift bags hanging all over the tree and they go so well with the silver bows. The lights are also placed in a unique way, as they look as though they are simply draped over the branches in a very “undone” fashion.
16. Simple White and Gold Tree
This adorable little tree features a beautifully simple theme. There are only a few white and gold bulbs in different sizes and some twinkling lights. Nothing more is needed.
17. Flocked Bird Tree
Last on our list is this beautiful flocked tree. The theme features multi-colored bulbs and birds. I love how the bright colors stand out against the flocked branches. This just happens to be my parents Christmas tree so there are some very special ornaments sprinkled about the tree. Also, my Dad loves placing a bendable Santa at the top of the tree as their tree topper. It’s a family Christmas tradition! Oh and if you’re interested, their tree is from Lowe’s.
